Are you traveling? Create an itinerary.

Some trips are great for spontaneous moments, and an itinerary saves us every time when I am on a time constrict. Why an itinerary can be beneficial, to maximize things you want to do, you can prioritize your wants, save time on packing, save on time, keep a budget, and purchase things like tickets ahead of time.

Now to enjoy the benefits, you need to create that itinerary, and this is how you can do that.

First, you want to do your research. Then, look at things to do and choose your must-dos. Now, make a list of your to-do list. Note the open times for each must-have. This can help you when it's time to put it in a time slot in your itinerary.

Next, you want to make a draft of your itinerary. Open a document and create your days of travel. Now, start setting your times to schedule activities and meals. By this time, you will be able to see if you have room to add additional activities to your itinerary, or maybe you have too many and will need to eliminate some. I love this part of creating the itinerary because I do my best to fit our favorite activities into the itinerary.

Finally, take a look at your itinerary. Ensure you include some downtime, so you don't feel rushed the entire trip. Nothing is worst than being exhausted and not having the time to take a breather. The benefit of having a blocked time slot is that you may come across something you want to do, and now you have room to fill it in your schedule. You now have a flexible itinerary you can fit in rest or that extra activity you must do!

Have fun creating your itinerary for your next getaway, and enjoy a stress-less trip! I can't tell you a stress-free trip because every trip is somewhat stressful! I am sure you all can relate. Happy planning.
